JOB VACANCY

The School of St Jude is a charity funded school that provides a quality FREE education to approximately 1,500 primary and secondary children from the poorest communities in Arusha.

From 2013 the school will be expanding to accommodate the teaching of A Levels, therefore we are seeking applications from  qualified teachers in ALL subjects areas to teach O to A levels at our Secondary school based in Usa River.

Successful candidates must be Tanzania Citizens and possess the following qualifications, skills and attributes:

• Bachelor of Education or equivalent from an accredited university
• A high level of proficiency in spoken and written English
• An ability to work within a team of teachers and collaborate with the Heads of Department and School Leaders
• An ability to demonstrate and work patiently, flexibly, reflectively, and independently
• A commitment to personal professional development and improving the quality of student learning

Successful applicants will have the privilege of being involved in an exciting and developing school environment working with an enquiry based approach to teaching and learning, based on developing skills and understandings.
